Principal Lauren Spaulding launched Dance Inc. in 2002. Previously known as ‘Kay & Co Dance Studio’ (est. 1985), former Principal Kay Spaulding dedicated endless hours to the development of all students and to the continued success of the studio. This family owned business spread throughout the inner west with classes being held in Boronia Park, Hunter’s Hill, Drummoyne, Gladesville and Abbotsford. Kay Spaulding was able to instill her own love of dancing, talent and passion for teaching on to her daughter Miss Lauren, who now has developed a more boutique style studio located at Boronia Park.

Miss Lauren started dancing at the tender age of 5, training in a variety of genres including Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Classical Ballet. She completed her study with the Australian Teachers of Dance Syllabus (ATOD) and has brought a wealth of professionalism as a choreographer and Principal to Dance Inc.

Her teacher training began at 15 years of age when she taught and choreographed Show Groups at various Studios and Secondary Schools throughout Sydney. She continues to choreograph School routines for CGSSSA competitions, School Musical Productions, major events, corporate shows and Harbour Cruises.

Miss Lauren’s classes are fast-paced, fun and her style is forever changing. “I promote a friendly and encouraging atmosphere within the Dance Inc. studio. I am passionate in assisting our students to find their own style, promoting individuality and experimentation”.

Teachers Alana De Roma, Ella Manongdo, Catherine Scro & Matthew Gode also bring a wealth of experience and a unique focus on modern dance styles. Their exciting choreography with current & up to date techniques not only challenges the students but keeps them interested and eager to learn and develop their own Dance Inc. flavour.
